100 club

People often ask me what music I enjoy listening to. I never respond with “everything”, because its simply not true. I’ve yet to explore a genres I’ve heard about, but never got round to listening to. I also hate using the word “mixed” to describe my taste because its not specific enough.

The fact is that I’m fascinated with music. If I hear something I like, I want to hear more of it, no matter what the genre. But my general listening comprises of electronically produced music from Hip-hop to Techno, whether I’m chilling, working, partying or otherwise.

Whilst working on Zone Focus, I make playlists of different music to keep myself active and productive. I wanted to display this on the ZF site in a music player format, so I made the 100 club playlist. This collection of music really represents where the ZF project has been and where it’s going in the future.

Their are two reasons why I love all these different kinds of music. Firstly is that I have a very good set of friends who are each into their individual styles of music, so naturally I gained a lot knowledge from them, respect and love to all. Secondly I’ve been lucky enough to visit some incredible bars, clubs and venues, each one providing a little bit of musical inspiration that gives me motivation to delve deeper into musical genres. My favourite ones are listed below to accompany the playlist.
